I like shading things. Makes it look much nicer, I think. Also, I’ve got this mini-series nailed down. Two more pages and we’re back to David the Treasure Hunter. Can’t wait! This story also gives a little insight into the world David finds himself in in general. I mean, David’s story did just kind of jump into things from the beginning. I hope you like it all! Feel free to let me know what you think about it all.

I love this page! The sense of time passing, the drawings on each panel… the way the shading shimmers on my monitor as I scroll up and down. All very good.
Oh wow, yeah, the screentone does crazy stuff when I scroll too. It works particularly well on the middle two panels, with the white space over the waves and the sun seeming to glow/radiate. Amazing! The things you can do with the digital version that wouldn’t be possible with print…
And I just love all the critters on this page. So much fun!
