Here we are, back to David the Treasure Hunter.
Hope you like it! No more breaks for a little while. Next page on Tuesday!

Oh man!! The diversion is over. And I really like how this page turned out, if I am allowed to say that. The Scott Pilgrim lookin’ guy isn’t a joke, either. Who is he, though?! We’ll meet him eventually, I hope (yes, we will).
Back to David the Treasure Hunter on Thursday! I’ve already got some future pages sketched out too. They will be on time! Promise. And they will be very exciting. Don’t forget to keep reading! And bring your friends!
See you Thursday!
Hey! Here is the next page. Not at midnight, but in the middle of the day. I’m not going to change the schedule, I’m just going to work on getting more future comics stashed away. I can do it!
Hope you like it, though. I posted a larger version for this one, and I am going to try and manage doing so for the previous pages of this story without breaking my website. It was starting to get to me how small they all were, considering how long I sit there trying to make them look nice. So go back and re-read them real quick!
Here it is! The next page, right on time.
I like shading things. Makes it look much nicer, I think. Also, I’ve got this mini-series nailed down. Two more pages and we’re back to David the Treasure Hunter. Can’t wait! This story also gives a little insight into the world David finds himself in in general. I mean, David’s story did just kind of jump into things from the beginning. I hope you like it all! Feel free to let me know what you think about it all.
Alright, more on Thursday, and the conclusion in one week! Get ready!
Hoooooo!
I’m done! I did it! The page is finally finished. I hope you like it. I took my time, even though it is definitely Friday, but I like how it turned out. Say what you will about my tardiness. The page looks pretty good, I think.
I do have a pretty good excuse for being late, too. I spent the past few days (Tuesday through Thursday, conveniently) up in Manton, Michigan with my friend Pat in his parents’ cabin. I could go on for a while about what happened, but I will probably just draw a comic about it at some point. It was a wonderful time! I was planning on coming back earlier to do the page, but was invited to stay longer and really couldn’t refuse.
Anyway, here it is! I hope you enjoy it. I’ll see you Tuesday, right on time! I promise!
Got this one done with plenty of time to spare! Hurrah!!
Welcome to the new look of my comics. I’m gonna try and work on my shading, but I think this page already turned out pretty well. This is what happens when I work ahead of time! I’ll try to make it happen more often.
Tell me what you think! Any suggestions? Questions? Hmm? Alright, see you Thursday!
Oh, also, on Sunday I did that hourly comics thing. It’s the cool thing to do on the internet, apparently. You can see what I did here! I might do it again on HOURLY COMIC DAY, but I might not. We’ll seeeeee
Hey everyone! Here is a page of a comic. The third page of this one, actually.
I apologize for it not looking the greatest. I’ve been going through some weird stuff with my roommates all moving out because our house got broken into, leaving me unsure of what to do with my own living/housing situation, moving my computer around a few times, and being generally not focused on drawing a comic. But I’ve made a promise not to be late, and I will post this thing even if I’m not 100% behind it.
So check out that greyscale! I think I might doing more of that, because I think it can be used to achieve some pretty nice results. I am still figuring out how to make it look like what I want it to. Check out Johnny Wander for a really excellent use of tone shading. If I knew exactly how Yuko Ota made it look like she does, I would probably just try to copy it as best as I could. But in the meantime, I’m just going to try and figure it out for myself.
The story continues. A lot more text than usual in these. I’m not sure what the deal is with the way they’re displaying here on the site, either. Siiigh.
With these I am also trying to draw faster. I mean I am always trying to do that but with these I skipped the sketching process (sort of) and just went for it right away. I usually spend too much time on my sketches anyway and clean them up enough to look basically just like the final line drawings. So I figured why not just do that to begin with and skip a step?
Anyway I think this will only be four pages total. But we’ll see.
